FORCITIS attends the academic annual meeting of the Architectural Curtain Wall Professional Committee of the Chinese Architectural Society

On November 24-25, 2025, the 11th Academic Forum on Architecture and Curtain Wall Design and the Annual Conference of the Architectural Curtain Wall Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Architects will be held in Chengdu, hosted by the Architectural Curtain Wall Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Architects and the Asia Pacific Construction Technology Information Research Institute Co., Ltd.


Architectural designers, structural engineers, curtain wall consultants, material manufacturers, and industry scholars from across the country gathered together to engage in in-depth dialogue on cutting-edge concepts, technological innovations, and project practices in the curtain wall industry, jointly exploring new paths for high-quality development of China's curtain wall industry.



Innovation as a guide to jointly paint the future picture of curtain walls


On the first day of the forum, the theme is "Innovative Design and Technical Practice", focusing on the evolution of the role of curtain wall systems in contemporary architecture.



At the concurrently held meeting of the China Architecture Society's Building Curtain Wall Professional Committee, FORCITIS President Du Yedong was elected as an executive member of the second committee of the China Architecture Society's Building Curtain Wall Professional Committee. This is not only a professional recognition of FORCITIS' years of deep cultivation in the field of curtain walls, but also a heavy responsibility. Forester will continue to inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Chinese building curtain walls through innovative technology.



Trio echoes the curtain wall narrative of Xi'an International Football Center


The day after the event, the 11th Academic Forum on Architecture and Curtain Wall Design was grandly held. Mr. Wang Jie, Partner of FORCITIS, was invited to perform on stage and deliver a keynote speech titled "The Trio of Materials, Culture, and Technology: Innovative Practices of Curtain Walls at Xi'an International Football Center".

The project was written by Zaha Hadid Architects and iDEA, with FORCITIS providing full lifecycle curtain wall consulting services. The Xi'an International Football Center is inspired by the "Zhou Qin Han Tang" high platform, and the entire venue facade and roof system adopt diverse designs:



UHPC imitation ceramic board: replicating the millennium pottery charm with modern ultra-high performance concrete;


36 types of gradient aluminum louvers: Through precise parametric design, achieve light and shadow flow and climate response;


Double layered mesh roof: lightweight like clouds, combining rigidity and flexibility, carrying the structural aesthetics of large-span spaces.



FORCITIS uses digital technology to accurately translate abstract cultural symbols into a language of constructible materials, giving the first international professional football stadium in the northwest region a "steel dress" - both the weight of history and the sharpness of the future.



Curtain walls are not just the "outer layer" of architecture, but also the intersection of urban spirit, technology, and culture.
