/ Planning and overview /

The first business card for the public

Shimao Shengang International Center is located in the eastern CBD of Longgang, Shenzhen. The formats such as super high-rise offices, commercial complexes, high-end apartments, luxury hotels and cultural exhibitions are planned. It will help Shenzhen absorb high-end industrial resources such as science and technology R&D, headquarters economy and modern service industry from Hong Kong, promote deep cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong, and build the eastern core of Greater Bay Area. Its central main tower will become a landmark building in China, aiming at building a brand-new landmark of Shenzhen skyline.

▲Base location

▲Master plan

The exhibition center built in earth stage faces Longgang Universiade Green Park, faces the future super high-rise main tower on the east side, is close to the central green space on the north side, and echoes the landscape mountain on the west side, with unique landscape and urban resources. The exhibition center will take into account the functions of planning and exhibition, commercial marketing, art exhibition and cultural activities, inject new vitality into the urban area, and will become the first business card of Shengang International Center for the public.

Spiral scroll and layered gardens

The architectural design takes "contemporary interpretation of traditional national rhyme" as the main theme, and embodies the core concepts of "Spiral Scroll" + "Layered Gardens": The spiraling architectural form is supplemented by LED transparent screen, which constitutes a hazy rice paper canvas and interprets the long scroll of mountains and rivers; The volumes of different levels and orientations are cantilevers to form a multi-dimensional layered garden, echoing the scenery in all directions. The two elements are combined to create an exhibition gallery with rich cultural heritage.

▲Solid model study

The art gallery floats on the water mirror, glimpsing and setting each other off. The tense body overhangs layer by layer and changes its orientation, reflecting each other with the surrounding field. The "spiral scroll" surrounds and spirals up conveniently, creating a hazy, quiet, or magnificent and majestic architectural atmosphere under the changing light and shadow in different periods. The core exhibition space "Crystal Exhibition Hall" is embedded inside, which is warm and transparent, showing the artistic tonality of public openness.

The landscape terrace that follows the rotation of the building constitutes the "layered gardens", which aims to create an air garden experience and form an indoor and outdoor temperament continuation.

/ Structure and form /

Cantilever step by step, free and smart

The main body of the building are the steel frame cantilever structure, and the cantilever trusses of the second and third floors are cantilever step by step around the central hexagonal frame tube, with a maximum cantilever of 18m, which fully shows the aesthetic feeling of building tension. The hexagonal frame tube is supported by six corner steel columns and three steel beams with a span of 30m. The central area runs through from top to bottom, introducing natural light and creating a spiritual space "Liuhe Hall". The structure of "Crystal Exhibition Hall" is self-contained, with steel stiles evenly distributed along the outer edge, bearing the load from the metal roof and glass facade of the exhibition hall, realizing a column-free exhibition space with a span of 33x18m, which is free and flexible and transparent in sight.

/ Materials and visions /

Changing light and shadow, flowing art

The "spiral scroll" is a double-layer facade system, the inner performance facade follows the functional layout, the outer form facade combines with the cantilever body to spiral and rise, and the middle cavity is built with an "LED transparent screen" multimedia system.

▲Model lighting simulation

▲ Evolution of real lighting

▲During the day, the glazed glass presents the hazy and elegant temperament like rice paper

▲At dusk, the architecture and the sky are bright together

▲In the evening, the dynamic landscape scrolls around the building, which is magnificent and stirring

▲At night, the gentle floodlight mode makes the building retreat to nature

The outer side of the double-layer facade is ultra clear glazed glass decorative facade with 50% coverage rate, and the inner side is medium gray glass performancefacade. A continuous cavity with a width of 70cm is left between the double-layer facade, and a transparent LED screen with P25 resolution is installed inside, which can clearly interpret multimedia pictures without affecting the indoor line of sight. Point-supported connecting members are used between the double-layer facade, and transparent glue lines are used for the outside glazed glass, which minimizes the influence of decorative facade on the picture. In order to meet the heat dissipation requirements of screen operation, the bottom of facade should be the perforated aluminum plate, and the top is provided with double-layer rainproof louvers, which can meet the requirements of waterproofing and natural ventilation.

/ Landscape and interior /

With water as the curtain, it is subtle and colorful

Landscape design takes water as the curtain, which extends the beauty of the site infinitely, and the floating light passes by, which is subtle and colorful; The crystal exhibition hall floats on it, and the quiet artistic conception of literature and ink makes people feel peaceful. As night falls, the water surface is transformed into a unique and gorgeous stage, which complements the "spiral scroll" and lights up the night sky of the city.

The architectural concept is continued indoors and the golden picture scroll is interpreted throughout the whole process; "Liuhe Hall" in the center reflects the colorful changing space through mirror stainless steel, which is full of interest.
