AWARD | FORCITIS Lighting wins 2 Zhurong Awards and 1 Asian Lighting Design Award
In the 2023 Asian Lighting Design Award and the 2023 Suzhou Station Zhurong Award, Forcitis won three categories of awards. The awards are as follows :
The project of Gedian Jindi Guiyuan Fu Exhibition Center, with Forcitis as the lighting consultant, won the ' 2023 Asian Lighting Design Award ∙ Special Light ' and the ' 2023 Zhurong Award Suzhou Station ∙ Architectural Landscape First Prize ' ;
Chongqing Vanke Starlight Sky City Demonstration Zone Project, with Forcitis as the lighting consultant, won the ' 2023 Zhurong Award Suzhou Station Lighting Group Commercial Space First Prize '.
The Asian Lighting Design Award, supported by the United Nations International Year of Light Committee and sponsored by the Association of Asian Lighting Designers ( AALD ), is one of the most authoritative and influential awards in the field of lighting design in Asia. At the beginning of June, the 18th Lighting Night and Asian Lighting Design Awards ceremony was successfully held in Guangzhou in 2023.

The Zhurong Award, which began in 2009, is sponsored by the China Building Decoration Association and is one of the most authoritative awards in China 's lighting design industry. Through the form of event + forum, Zhurong Award holds the sub-station competition and finals in the national tour, which brings together thousands of excellent architects, interior designers, lighting designers and other professional lighting talents in the country. It is an annual speculative event in the field of lighting in China.

Project brief
The project is located in the national economic development zone of Ezhou City, Hubei Province, where high-tech industries are concentrated, high-net-worth individuals and high-level talents are gathered, the technology industry is new, and the update iteration is fast. With the concept of ' light • shadow ' as the lighting design concept, Firth penetrates the inside of the lattice to create a delicate and elegant nightscape lighting environment without losing its vitality. The creative thinking of our design is based on the site expression of light and shadow, and the unique charm of various lights is used to present the artistic atmosphere of ' the star does not ask what is the sky, the light does the guide '. The floating light is reflected on the beautiful scenery, and the water mist jumps between the water surface. The beautiful waterscape and light and shadow complement each other, jointly creating the atmosphere of the golden land.

Project brief
Vanke Xingguang Sky City is located in Shapingba District of Chongqing, with a total construction area of about 212,400 square meters. The unique overhead design of the first floor of the demonstration area allows the building to escape the gravity of the earth in an incredibly lightweight form. In addition, the high-transparent glass and sun plate of the facade skin present a clear and uniform artistic temperament as a whole. In the design of this project, Frost used lighting techniques to form a unified light and color, showing a floating, transparent, full of future space experience, thus creating a variety of visual highlights. Through repeated illumination simulation calculations, we designed a ring of embedded light slots at the first floor overhead position and installed flexible wall washing lights to avoid the impact of lamps on the human eye in the landscape area. While taking into account the ornamental nature of the building, the use of lighting emphasizes the sense of floating in the demonstration area.
